In 2010, driven by a vision to elevate the homebuilding experience, Kevin turned his vision into reality with the founding of Innovation Luxury Homes—a defining moment in his career. Fueled by years of experience and a desire to redefine luxury homebuilding, he established the company to deliver residences that blend cutting-edge design with unparalleled craftsmanship. That same year, he earned his Graduate Master Builder designation from the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), solidifying his expertise and setting a high standard for every project. Innovation Luxury Homes was born from a commitment to push quality & boundaries, offering clients not just homes, but bespoke living experiences tailored to their aspirations.
Also, as a licensed Realtor & Broker in Texas, Kevin offers clients more than just a builder’s perspective. At Innovation Luxury Homes, our story is rooted in a lifelong passion for crafting exceptional homes. Founder Kevin Merritt’s journey began in Central Texas, where he spent his summers on jobsites with his father, a respected framing contractor. It was there, amidst the dedication of skilled craftsmen transforming raw materials into homes, that Kevin first envisioned a career in homebuilding—not just constructing houses but creating environments for families to cherish.
After earning a Business Finance degree from Texas State University, Kevin settled in Austin, bringing with him a blend of financial acumen and an unwavering commitment to quality construction. His early career in financial services sharpened his analytical skills, but in 2000, he returned to his true calling: residential homebuilding.
